Electric mobility is certainly one of the biggest development drivers in our industry. Although e-drives make do with far fewer individual parts, the demands placed on them are incomparably higher. What were high-end requirements for conventional drives will become the new standard in e-mobility: highest machining quality, lowest noise emission and finest surfaces. In other words, what are our great strengths at PRÄWEMA anyway.
As drive technologies change, so does our customer profile. The established OEMs and major suppliers are now being joined by numerous new players in the market who are just getting to know our technological capabilities. For us, this also means providing even more intensive personal support and advice to a larger number of customers and contacts. Engineers need much more consulting expertise these days. And PRÄWEMA as a company is also adapting to this change - for example, through further development in consulting, service and communication.
PRÄWEMA is one of the very few suppliers on the market to provide both soft and hard machining of gears. For this purpose, we use our own tools on our own machines - the perfect match is therefore already in our system and comes from a single source. This is also the reason why our engineers are often already in close contact with our customers during the development phase: this synergy is the basis for perfectly coordinated machining processes.
One thing the future in machine construction will certainly not be: boring. I see increasing demands for quality and overall technological know-how everywhere. Solution competence, consulting skills in close cooperation with customers who bring completely new issues with them - all this will be increasingly in demand. For our engineers, this is an exciting task; for PRÄWEMA, it is a challenge for which we are excellently positioned.
